My approach
Because the best memories aren’t posed.
I’m Pau, a family photographer based in Haarlem. I photograph families at home, on the beaches of Zandvoort and Bloemendaal, in the woods of Heemstede, in the dunes, the historic city centre or the tulip fields, and I also travel across Noord-Holland and to Amsterdam.
My sessions are relaxed and playful, so your children can just be themselves and you can enjoy the moment while I take care of the rest.

Newborn & maternity
Newborn at home
No props, no baskets, no hours of posing. Just your first weeks together, at home, as they really are: the feeds, the tiny hands, the siblings meeting the baby.
A calm 1.5-hour session in the first three weeks, 25 edited photos, gallery within 7 days.

What if my kids won’t sit still?
Good! I actually prefer it that way. I capture them as they are: running, playing and being curious.
What should we wear?
I’ll send you a guide to help you choose comfortable outfits that look great without feeling like a costume.
What if the weather is bad?
We live in the Netherlands! If it’s an outdoor shoot, we can stay flexible and move the date for free, or embrace the gezellig vibes indoors.
Where do family photo sessions take place?
In your home or at one of my favourite spots in and around Haarlem: the beach, the dunes, the forest, the city centre or the tulip fields in spring. When is the best time of year for a family photoshoot?
Every season has its magic: tulips in spring, golden beach evenings in summer, warm colours in autumn and cosy sessions at home in winter. The 4 Seasons package lets you capture them all.
How soon will we receive our photos?
You’ll receive your private online gallery within a week after the session.
